The SAO Moulding System At Builder Solutions Technology, we have adapted the principles of the External Insulation and Finishing System (EIFS) to create a family of products that can be applied to beautify your building with our revolutionary yet simple method. The generic name given to this family of products is SAO Moulding, or Solutions Architectural Ornament. SAO Moulding consists of lightweight cladding for the external walls of buildings and for large trim parts such as: Banding Cornices Window Hoods Keystones Dome Relief Carvings This type of lightweight cladding was originally developed in Europe in the late 1940s, and is now a widely-adopted cladding system throughout the world, creating a whole new way to insulate and embellish a building facade. SAO Product Application Our products can be used on new building projects as well as refurbishment projects to give your building a new lease of life. SAO products have been successfully applied to houses, shop houses, shopping centres, factories and other commercial properties. When used as a cladding it provides an aesthetically pleasing weather proof exterior surface and insulation in a wide variety of architectural designs. Through a sophisticated method of extrusion, our SAO Mouldings are formed using Expanded Polystyrene Board (EPS) and Alkaline Resistant Fiber Glass Mesh as a backbone. A specially formulated latex polymer is mixed with Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and silica sand to form the outer layer skin.
